Welcome to the website of Capital Region Action Against Breast Cancer! (CRAAB!), a community-based non-profit organization created in 1997 by a diverse group of  caregivers, health practitioners, educators, advocates and several breast cancer survivors who know first-hand about the shock of a cancer diagnosis and the need to find support.

Our priority is making sure you have the emotional support and evidence-based information you need.  If you have been recently diagnosed with breast cancer, we can help you find and assess information, so you can make better informed decisions about your treatment options and the support services you may want to complement your medical choices.

CRAAB! provides programs for people who are currently undergoing treatments, as well as for those who have completed treatments.  We also sponsor on-going educational programs on topics such as primary prevention of cancer, environmental links to cancer, potential risk reduction through nutrition and exercise, and the genetic factors of the disease.  All of our services and education programs are free for cancer survivors, and some are free for caregivers as well.

Please peruse our website to find those programs and services that are right for you.  Education, support and advocacy are our hallmarks.  If you need assistance, please give us a call, OR send us an e-mail and WE'LL BE THERE FOR YOU FOR AS LONG AS YOU NEED US.
